(It's Ebisu's day!)

To the Batmobile!

No. Really. That's what the name means.
     Sort of.
     Murciélago means bat in Spanish.
I know, right? You'd expect your Italian supercar to have an Italian name. Even Doug doesn't bring that up, but, hey, a bat's a bat, right? There was even a Batman impersonator who drove a black Lamborghini because of the name.
Except that his wasn't actually a Murciélago.
And he got gored by his own car.
And there is a weird connection.
     You'll love it.
     It's the bull.
     No bull.
So, the Batman, who wasn't Batman, got run down by the Batmobile that wasn't actually a bat ... mobile, but was a bull, doing what bulls do, which is getting revenge on guys with capes.
And that's just the tip of the odd iceberg that is this car.

Like many car-crazy kids, I grew up worshiping Lamborghinis. I built models of Lamborghinis. I aspired to own a Lamborghini. But, just as working in the Air Force cured my romanticism of airplanes, so, too, did my stint at Daimler cure my romanticism of cars, including Lamborghinis. Now, I have a tendency to see things the way Doug sees them, and I think a lot of manufacturers would do well to hire him to consult with them on their designs.
Are you, too, one of those still enthralled by the mere mention of the name, Lamborghini?
Want me to really ruin them for you?
Guess how Lamborghini started out, and still makes a lot of their money.
     Tractors.
That's right. Allis Chalmers/John Deere-like, plow-pulling, manure-spreading, farming tractors. But, with style, of course, because, what else would one want in a tractor?
And THAT, not anything fierce like fighting, is why the bull is their symbol.
Bet you'll never see a Lamborghini the same way again, eh?
And the Murciélago? They quit making it.

EUREKA!

I started following the Expanding Earth theory about a decade ago. As with so many things, I was surprised to find out just how old the idea was. I was also surprised to find out that the Electric Universe proponents discounted it. I mean, it's just so obvious. How can anyone fail to see it?

Ok, granted, it was quite a shock to me, too, but I'd already become so accustomed to shocking things that I was willing to suspend disbelief long enough to properly ponder the idea. How much more radical an idea was it, after all, than, say, plate techtonics?
But, the Electric Universe guys were certain that the ocean basins on the earth, and what would have been ocean basins on Mars, were electically machined.
So, there we stood. For years. Them insisting that the expansion of the earth was not responsible for the ocean basins. The expanding earth theory standing on the obviousness of its claims. Me unable to reconcile the two positions.
     Until ...

This bridges the gap. But, how do I bring this up to Wal again? Maybe someone else already has. As it turns out, an awful lot of the other EU acolytes, like me, have also been, just like me, Expanding Earth believers, too.

Anonymous tip?!

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned where many of these anonymous tips really come from. But, I'll never say anything.
I'm also pretty sure I've mentioned that we're pretty sure they've been stockpiling weapons, too. But who knew it was in places like this?

And where have we seen underground tunnel networks before?
     Epstein Island!
     Aaaaannnnd...

STEM Heroes

These are real heroes. They should erect a statue to Kendrick in front of the police station.

Notice anything about that article, though? Anyone missing from that list of heroes? Remember the Pulse nightclub heroes? No? Neither do I.
There were none, quite (in)famously even among the police.

I wonder what that says, and about whom.
     Could it be Florida?
Nope. There was a hero in the Parkland, Florida shooting.
Must be something else. I wonder what it could be.
But, those STEM kids, they ARE heroes. And they're precisely the sort you think of when you think of military. At least I do. The Pulse patrons simply don't fall into that category. And it's time everyone faced up to that fact.

FINALLY!

Someone else has figured out that the cabal are actually comprised of different, warring factions.

As I was saying...

Birkeland currents run the earth's atmosphere and hydrosphere just as on Jupiter and Saturn.
