Phrenology?
This long skulls thing is gaining traction with me. According to MacKenzie (pronounced Mac Kenyee), the ancients of Mesopotamia distinguished races according to head shape: Long vs. broad. On the other hand, the Sumerians didn't call themselves Sumerians. They called themselves the black-headed people. Did they mean their hair? This name actually survives into modern times. In German, for example, it's Schwarzkopf, blackhead.
