I thought you might be interested in a comment I added to a youtube video:

The two staves (Asclepius vs. Caduceus) represent Aaron's rod/serpent (symbolizing Christ) vs. Jannes' & Jambres' two rods/serpents (symbolizing the conflict between Christ and Satan which forestalls Christ's judgment of Satan).
Aaron's rod/serpent would later be erected in the north (a critical and symbolic direction) of the camp of Israel as Nehushtan. The other serpents were long gone having been consumed by Aaron's.
By the way, the allegory is that a serpent is a symbol of knowledge or wisdom; a belief system. And a rod is something on which you lean, something which supports you. Aaron's correct knowledge sustained him. The sorcerers' incorrect belief system failed them. And the debate was about the cosmic events unfolding around them. Compare this with, say, Intelligent Design vs. Darwinism, or cyclic weather vs. global warming. One is correct; the other incorrect. One leads to successful guidance and prudent decision-making; the other to error and calamity.
Notice that all Egyptian 'gods' carry a rod that is simultaneously a serpent. Notice the little feet on the bottom [just like Joseph said]. But, notice also the pteradactyl-like head. These are not just serpents; they're bird-serpents, or FLYING serpents.
Even better, that rod has a name. The name is 'was'. And 'was' means a 'word', a word which itself means 'power'. Hmmm... Now where have I heard that before?

Russia

I grew up with a conflicted relationship with Russia. On the one hand, it was Russia that was responsible for East Germany, Hungary, Yugoslavia, and Chechoslovakia slipping into 40 years of darkness. It was Russia who was the ever-present threat. And I spent much of my life mere miles away from the jaws of the bear.
On the other hand, I also knew that the US and Russia had been friends once. We bought Alaska from them. Russians had practically settled our west coast. The bear on the flag of California is the Russian bear. And that friendship even lasted into WWII. And even after WWII, there were still signs of hope. If you don't know about the Glomar Explorer, you need to take the time to study it. The outcome was an American-made video, delivered to the Kremlin, of American military members, dressed in Russian uniforms, singing the Russian national anthem as they gave Russian sailors proper Russian burials at sea. After the fall of the Soviet Union, one of those present at the viewing would say that (paraphrasing), there wasn't a dry eye in the house, and many of us knew then that there had been a great misunderstanding. The Americans weren't the monsters we'd been told. And now we were wondering exactly who was responsible for telling us such things in the first place.
That was 1974. That was the beginning of the end of the USSR. But, that wasn't the beginning of the end of the USA. That had already been started in 1776, when the new nation was already being eyed by globalist powers as a target for them to mold in their own image.
But that's a topic for another day. For today, please, watch this. It made me weep.
God bless the Russian people. God bless the Russian leaders. May they all remain true to the faith.

From my playlist

I was introduced to the music of Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou in 1980 by my new friend, Jürgen (Yogi) Klaus. His father, Hans Klaus, was a toy merchant, the sort I used to see on the military base when I was a kid back in 1962-1966. They would drive up to the apartment buildings we lived in with their Mercedes Benz diesel's trunk full of toys. He was like the Good Humor Ice Cream truck of toys. And we would all beg our parents for a quarter so we could buy a top, or a propeller gun (remember those?) or something. Well, that was Yogi's dad. He did the same thing. And, so, his basement was wall-to-wall toys. My favorites were the Siku trucks. And Yogi would give me one every time I went over there. I even still had a few of them when our kids were big enough to inherit them, so, they're long gone now.
But Yogi also played a lot of music. We would just sit back and listen to his latest purchases as we chatted. We went through his entire collection. Most of it was awful, and deserved to be talked over, but one day, he played a new album: Albedo 0.39, by Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou. I ran right out and bought it, and listened to it dozens of times. It was actually my launch-pad into other, similar music like Genesis and Alan Parsons.
What? You've never heard of Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou?
     Of course you have!
Well, I mean, maybe you know him better by his stage name:
     Vangelis
And I know you've heard his music. Everyone's heard his music.
(As usual, time and quality speakers are a must.)

Chariots of Fire

Imagine my delight, when I first saw Blade Runner, and immediately recognized the music.
Blade Runner Soundtrack
This is the kind of music that comes in entire albums, not just songs. Enjoy!

How would I have recognized that from Chariots of Fire? Because, I'd had this next one for years by that time.
Introducing, the one that started it all (for me anyway):

Albedo 0.39
Trust me; just let it play

The die-hard Yes fan's horizons had just exploded.
