(It's Ra's day!)

Highlights

* George Clooney is a deep-state Hollywood plant!
* The rest of the 'Crat Pack' are, too! (Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, et al)
* Nancy Pelosi appears to be the sole obstacle to the passage of the USMCA.
* The latest Kavanaugh accuser is a former Clinton lawyer.
* Now the New York Times is guilty of withholding exculpatory information in the Kavanaugh affair.
* "Iran has not started any war in over 200 years." Are they really behind the Saudi attack?
* Having worked in the oil industry back in Denver, I can tell you that the bottom has dropped out of the oil market, and a lot of people in that sector would like to see supply reduced. Why? Because high prices are their only power.
* Former MSNBC luminary, Krystal Ball (her real name), concedes on Bill Maher's show that her former employer's irresponsible "conspiracy-theorizing" about Donald Trump "has done real damage to the left."
* That UAW strike against GM could be nothing more than a distraction from a certain UAW head being convicted on corruption charges, especially since the investigation that caught him now appears to be cascading into more arrests, and certain convictions.
* What's going on right now in Argentina? Jordan? Viet Nam? Bangladesh? Uruguay? I'll bet a lot of Americans would be surprised to walk the streets of the biggest cities of any of these countries.
* Need to catch up on Q's posts? Start here.

From My Playlist

We've lost another one. Ric Ocasek, the star of The Cars, died in his sleep a few days ago, surrounded by family.
(Bassist, Benjamin Orr, had already passed in 2000.)
I was never much of a fan of New Wave, but I liked a few of The Cars' songs, so I thought listing them here for you might be nice tribute to them. Besides, I can't see anyone ever forming a Cars tribute band.

Magic
Nice, if brief, guitar solo.

It's all I can do
Longer, if less inspiring, guitar solo.

Finally, what I feel is their all-time best, and one of my all-time favorites, ...

Drive
Eerily reminiscent of 10:CC's I'm Not In Love

Of course, this one also finds itself on my Marcus loves Marlina playlist.
