We were in LA back then, and as stunned as we were at the news of their deaths, nothing could prepare us for the tongue-lashing the activists unleashed on 'whites' about 'not judging', 'tolerating other cultures' (they literally claimed that drunk driving is a cultural norm for them), and even that 'we' have to accept part of the blame for enraging 'them' with our intolerance. I kid you not. I actually heard such words on KFI radio. My Lincoln LSC was stolen and wrapped around a tree by a couple of 'hispanic-looking' youths. I was handed an $1,800 bill for towing away the wreck, and for damage to the tree. A friend of mine was hit by a 'hispanic' driver. They exchanged information, shook hands, and left. A week later, my friend found out that all the information he'd been given was fake, including the license plates on the other vehicle. This is a big, and growing, problem in LA, but you never hear about it.
