And what best serves one's neighbors?
Contrary to what you've heard, it's NOT by granting wishes. You're no genie in a bottle, and you're certainly no slave. Your only master is Christ himself. You best serve your neighbor by leading him to heaven through your example, by showing him how to better serve Christ himself.
This is what it means to seek our neighbor's interest.
His best interest is served by gaining salvation, even exaltation.
That's how your job is done.
That's when your job is done.
