(It's Shangdi's day!)

Highlights

* The Democrats are bringing in the communications blackout sideways. They're warming us up to the idea that they have to silence a lot of people for our own good.
* Biden is issuing orders restricting pharmacies from filling prescription for Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine.
* My own son is now being pressured by his employer to get vaccinated!
* This is war!

The first 30 years of my life were spent on and around military bases, which is to say that I grew up in black neighborhoods, the military in those years having been over 50% black.
And I had black friends. We went to school together. We played together. We even fought sometimes.
In the military, I had many good friends who happened to be black: Micky Bethea, 'mom', Sandy Archer, Blalock, Tony Nooks, and, above all, Dwight Ford, whom I still have a picture of in my album. (I've tried, unsuccessfully, several times, over the years, to find Dwight.)
I've only ever had, as far as I know, one enemy who happened to be black. Reggie was Dwight's roommate, and hated me from day one, which was not too unusual for me. It took me years to understand that some people just knew what I was, on sight, and were the sorts of people who, like Cain, just hate people like me on a visceral level. There was one guy on Robinson Barracks, known as 'Blue', who just exploded at me one day for no apparent reason. I heard a few weeks later that he'd hung himself in his girlfriend's shower. Tragic. I don't know why he hated me so much, or why I had no clue until he unleashed his rage at me that day, but I understand now that there are people with something wrong in them. And they instincively sense something in you that just magnifies their own guilt, their own feelings of inadequacy, in their own eyes, and they just can't bear it. And Reggie was one of those. But, unlike any of my other enemies, Reggie finally figured out that I wasn't his enemy, and he came to me to offer an olive-branch, which I whole-heartedly accepted.
Just recently, I worked for a black woman whom I adored as much as she adored me (or so it seemed).
I know that none of my old friends ever felt like this toward me, nor I toward them. And we certainly wouldn't have tolerated the presence of anyone who talked or even thought like this.

But something has changed.
I've been encountering more and more of this kind of thinking in the world, even among those I once counted as my friends.
My circle of friends is shrinking.
And I find that heartbreaking.
This is evil.
And it's on mainstream TV! NEWS!
CRT indeed!
