This is remarkable. I've had prayers answered more often than I can tell you, but this is one of them.
I've long wondered why the church has a bishop in addition to the local wards' bishops. But, it had already come to me that the role of local bishops is really much larger than just being the president of the priests' quorum, and otherwise running the ward. But it's precisely that logistical function that recently led me to an epiphany, and this figures in to yet another of my epistles that I've still got to get written.
Bishops are over the ... BISHOP'S WAREHOUSE! Yes. And that means that, in the United Order, where we don't use money, and yet we 'buy without money and without price', it's the bishops who keep the books, books which aren't written down, because, as soon as you use money, or keep physical books, the government wants a piece of the action. And, so, the church as a whole must also have a bishop. See?
